Job summary

Mastronardi Produce Ltd. is seeking a warehouse associate to ensure accurate inventory movement and efficient warehousing operations. You will operate a stand-up forklift, manage pallet flow, and perform tagging and paperwork with high accuracy to support food safety traceability.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift license, and a valid driver's license or state ID with a recent eye exam. Proficiency with scan guns and basic arithmetic is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift License required and related work experience.
• Valid Driver’s License or valid state ID and a recent eye exam (within 1 year).
• Ability to use a scan gun and calculator.
• Basic arithmetic and math (counting) skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Move product within warehouse and trailers using a stand-up forklift.
• Handle and maintain the flow of inventory in the warehouse.
• Perform basic tag and paperwork functions with high accuracy to ensure integrity of pallet movement and food safety traceability.
• Ensure all equipment and work areas are maintained in a clean, safe and orderly fashion.
• Report any product quality issues immediately to the supervisor.
• Properly select / load / inspect / sort product per supervisors’ instructions / guidance.
• Assist in general clean-up of the warehouse throughout the day.
• Report to the supervisor when an inventory rack, piece of equipment, or anything else that may pose a safety risk to employees working in that area.
• Ensure safe/proper operation of equipment per company.
• Complete equipment checklists to ensure proper condition of equipment.
