Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator for our Fort Wayne, IN location. You will efficiently load, unload, and move freight on the dock, operating forklift and pallet jack and scanning shipments to track progress.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math with or without a calculator.
• Available for multiple shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Operate motorized and manual equipment including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely and follow company safety policies.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on an unconditioned dock for extended periods.
