Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator in South Bend, IN to efficiently sort, load, and unload palletized and non-palletized freight on a dock. You will operate forklift and pallet jack, scan shipments, and ensure secure freight within trailers, all while adhering to safety policies on a non-climate-controlled site.

The ideal candidate has forklift experience, basic math skills, and flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math with or without a calculator.
• Willing to work varying shifts (days/evenings/nights/weekends).

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload freight.
• Use pallet jack and forklift to move goods.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools.
• Follow safety policies and work on a non-climate-controlled dock.
• Scan and track shipments with handheld devices.
• Work on a dock with varying temperature and conditions.
