Job summary

Maersk in Humble, TX seeks a Forklift Operator to load and unload materials using hand truck, reach truck or forklift, while keeping a clean, safe work environment and verifying discrepancies in receiving loads against manifest.

Responsibilities include pulling routes, staging freight, assisting drivers, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring accuracy under OSHA guidelines. Must lift 50+ lbs, read/write English, and be available for overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs unassisted and read work instructions.
• English reading/writing skills required.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Utilize manifest to pull routes, stage freight, and assist drivers to load/unload trucks.
• Handle material tasks: picking, packing, scanning, kitting, counting as applicable.
• Operate forklift/pallet jacks; ensure timeliness and accuracy of packaging and systems.
• Identify overages, shortages and damages; follow TSA/OSHA guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned in a fast-paced environment.
