Job summary

Maersk Ground Freight seeks experienced Forklift Operators to load and unload materials at our Coppell, TX facility. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scan guns, keeping accurate load manifests and ensuring safety in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities include staging freight, assisting drivers, and identifying OS&D. Candidates must lift 50+ lbs, read instructions well, work overtime, and collaborate with team while adhering to TSA/OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink-wrap material.
• Experience using an RF scan gun is required.
• Previous forklift certifications preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed, occasional weekends.
• Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions well.
• Must have the ability to work well with others.
• High attention to detail required.
• Must have the ability to work well with others with little supervision.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. unassisted.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist drivers in loading and unloading trucks.
• Forklift experience and material handling duties as assigned.
• Identify overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
• Safely operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a safe work environment per TSA and OSHA guidelines.
