Work Hours:

• 2nd Shift 3pm - 11pm (M-F) with possible daily and weekend overtime

Position: Forklift Driver

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift trucks equipped with various lifting devices to move raw materials, in-process, and finished products within warehouse, storage yard, or factory. May include loading and unloading semi-trailers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
• Load or unload materials onto pallets, skids, or other lifting devices.
• Perform safety checks on lifts, lubricate trucks, recharge batteries, and refuel as necessary.
• Assess load capacity and ensure loads are balanced and within the forklift's capabilities.

Starting Rate: $19.54/hour

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating forklift and clamp trucks.
• Skilled in controlling forklift operations, including navigating narrow aisles and ramps, and managing load lifting and lowering.
• Knowledge of forklift dimensions and load capacities.
• Strong spatial awareness for maneuvering in tight spaces and reaching shelves or bins.
• Familiarity with storage area layout for efficient item placement.
• Ability to exert physical force as required to move objects safely.
