Job summary

Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, seeks skilled Forklift Operators to join our manufacturing shop in Rural Hall, NC. You will safely transport materials, load/unload trucks, and ensure loads are secured while adhering to PPE and safety rules.

Qualified applicants have at least a high school diploma, 3+ years of forklift experience with 10,000 lb+ capacity, and a valid forklift certification; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish.
• Minimum high school education or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating forklifts with 10,000lb+ lifting capacity.
• Valid forklift operator certification or license.
• Experience as forklift driver in manufacturing or construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to safely transport materials, components, and finished products within the facility.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, racks, or shelves, ensuring loads are properly placed and secured.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE; perform pre-operational checks on the forklift.
• Inspect forklift and related equipment for defects; report issues to supervisors.
• Collaborate with team to coordinate activities and ensure timely delivery of materials.
