Job summary

Scotts Miracle-Gro is seeking a warehouse associate to unload inbound shipments and prepare products for shipment. You will operate a forklift, perform picking, and ensure accurate counts while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized facility.

The role requires reading orders, basic math, and a valid forklift license. You will be involved in inventory control, stock rotation, and daily safety compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift (3–5 years).
• Ability to read orders and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations.
• Stack and store merchandise in designated areas.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and damage-free.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment and verify counts.
• Perform picking duties and move product to rail cars or trailers.
• Operate forklift, clamp truck, and RF devices safely.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and report variances.
• Support cycle counts and proper stock rotation.
• Adhere to OSHA/MSDS standards and company safety policies.
