Job summary

METROLINA GREENHOUSES LLC in Huntersville, NC seeks a full-time Forklift Driver to operate a sit-down forklift, load and unload deliveries, and move materials to and from storage within the distribution center.

This fast-paced role requires 2–3 years of forklift experience, knowledge of hand and power tools, proficiency with RF scanners, and excellent hand–eye coordination. You will work primarily indoors with occasional outdoor exposure, and overtime may be required during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ forklift experience
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools
• Proficient in operating RF scanners
• Excellent hand-eye coordination

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product from delivery trucks
• Transport materials to different locations within the facility
• Move material on pallets throughout the greenhouse
• Stack product in the correct locations following inventory instructions
• Update inventory activity, lists, records, and logs
• Assist other departments as needed
• Assist with soil production
• Other duties as assigned by management
