Job summary

Carlisle Companies is hiring a forklift operator in an insulation manufacturing facility. You will operate propane sit-down forklifts, load/unload from production lines, and maintain a clean, organized warehouse with safety at the forefront.

Typically 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday with variable start times and occasional weekend work to support production, shipping, or warehouse needs; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation certification and knowledge of safety policies.
• Know warehouse layout, product codes, batch numbers.
• Understand production schedule.
• LOTO program certified.
• Identify potential quality defects.
• Knowledge of labels and piece counts.
• Knowledge of safety aspects of equipment and plant policies.
• Operate mobile equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate propane sit down lift trucks after safety checks.
• Knowledge and use of SAPI system.
• Perform TPM checks on equipment.
• Label production runs and verify information on labels.
• Operate and troubleshoot label applicator.
• Verify pallet counts against labels.
• Inspect packaging for defects.
• Move products to designated warehouse locations.
• Keep production line clear and running; maintain 5S.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Fill in other areas of the plant as required.
