Job summary

Carlisle Companies is seeking a Warehouse Operator to operate sit-down forklifts and assist in packaging and line support in an insulation manufacturing facility. You will troubleshoot packaging equipment, prepare labels, and ensure accurate counts while maintaining a clean, safe workplace.

Responsibilities include moving products, supporting line efficiency, and training new team members. Some overtime and 40-hour weeks are typical in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation certification and safe operation of sit-down forklifts.
• Understanding of warehouse layout and product codes.
• Ability to read production schedules and TPM checklists.
• Knowledge of LOTO program and safety policies.
• Ability to identify possible quality defects and take corrective action.
• Familiarity with labels, piece counts, and packaging processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate propane sit-down lift trucks after safety check.
• View and use SAPI system for operations.
• Perform TPM checklists on equipment.
• Create labels for each production run and verify information.
• Operate and troubleshoot label applicator.
• Verify pallet counts against labels.
• Inspect packaging for defects and quality.
• Move product from line to designated warehouse locations.
• Maintain clean, safe production area with 5S standards.
• Assist in training new team members and cover other plant areas as needed.
