Job summary

Carlisle is seeking a Forklift Operator to support shipping and warehouse operations. The role involves moving materials on a propane sit-down forklift, inspecting products, and keeping the warehouse organized to maintain smooth production flow.

You will record data, assist with quality checks, and work with the production and shipping teams to follow standard processes. Overtime and weekend hours may be required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-shift forklift inspections.
• Record maintenance, quality data and production metrics.
• Safely operate a propane sit-down forklift to move materials.
• Visually inspect materials for defects and segregate faulty product.
• Maintain housekeeping and organize warehouse areas.
• Collaborate with production and shipping teams to follow standard processes.
• Support recycling area and assist in other plant areas as needed.
• Assist forklift operator II and perform additional duties as assigned.
