Job summary

Buffalo Rock, a Birmingham-based Pepsi and Keurig Dr Pepper bottler with a long history, seeks a Forklift Operator to support franchise operations. The role is responsible for loading and unloading trucks, moving products, and ensuring correct inventory flow using palletized loads and proper rotation.

You will help maintain safety policies, operate batteries and propane tanks, assist in cross-warehouse movement, and keep pick areas stocked for rapid order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Forklift certification through Buffalo Rock required.
• Valid Driver License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks by hand or forklift.
• Move product to ensure correct rotation based on date coding.
• Verify loads against BOL and report discrepancies to Inventory Coordinator.
• Ensure loads are properly wrapped by machine or hand.
• Build pallets accurately according to loading documents.
• Maintain current safety policies for transport drivers.
• Assist in product movement between warehouses as requested.
• Keep pick areas stocked and rotated.
