International Paper in Toughkenneton? Actually Toughkenamon, PA is hiring a General Helper — Forklift Operator once qualified. This full-time, hourly role supports production by feeding machines, stacking pallets, and maintaining safety and housekeeping.

You will participate in quality checks, complete load tags and paperwork, and communicate issues clearly. Candidates must be able to read documents, use a tape measure, and work with peers to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to read safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers and management.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and housekeeping.
• Feed two case erector machines to keep up with production demands.
• Keep glue levels in operating order to prevent downtime.
• Complete shift paperwork (load tags, unit tags, work orders).
• Separate dunnage sheets and bundle straps as needed.
• Stack pallets of boxes correctly and efficiently per customer requirements.
• Know proper stacking patterns per customer requirements.
• Transition between stacking pallets to keep up with production demand.
• Finalize pallets with paperwork (load tags, PQV forms, tally, waste sheets).
• Assist in quality repairs when feeding and stacking.
• Ensure all box sizes are stacked neatly with minimal tipping.
• Communicate quality issues as needed.
• Clear minor machine jams due to malfunctions.
• Unload foam trailers as needed.
