Job summary

International Paper seeks a General Helper to support manufacturing operations at Atglen Container. The role starts probationary with pay progression and requires lifting, machine operation, and adherence to safety standards.

Training occurs on 1st shift with later opportunities as Machine Operator, Palletizer/Unitizer, Shipper/Loader, and more. Candidates should have forklift experience and the ability to read measurements and shop math. Benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year of hands-on industrial plant manufacturing experience.
• Corrugated industry experience preferred.
• Sit-down forklift/pull pack experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic shop math.

Responsibilities

• Safely run machines and follow safety rules at all times.
• Count and stack finished product.
• Read work orders and design specifications.
• Coordinate activities with other machine crew members.
• Operate lift trucks safely and efficiently.
• Ensure correct product on production line and proper strapping.
