Job summary

CJ Schwan’s is hiring for a second-shift warehouse role in Wisconsin. You will safely operate forklifts, pick and stage pallets for timely loading, and ensure accurate material movements to keep operations flowing. The position requires lifting, basic data entry, and familiarity with warehouse systems.

Starting pay is $21.50 per hour with a $1.50 night differential from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., and there are extensive benefits including health plans, 401k match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old.
• 0–1 year of related experience.
• Operate forklifts and related equipment safely.
• Gain and maintain forklift certification/training.
• Understand/use WMS and SAP systems.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and lift equipment to receive, store, and transport palletized products in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Efficiently pick and stage pallets from storage racks to designated Forward Pick areas to support timely trailer loading and distribution.
• Maintain smooth product flow by ensuring all material movements are completed accurately and within established timeframes.
• Perform regular equipment checks, promptly reporting any malfunctions or safety issues to supervisors to minimize downtime.
• Support inventory control by assisting with periodic counts and maintaining organized storage areas following Good Warehouse Practices (GWP).
