Job summary

Grocery Outlet is seeking a RFC Forklift Operator to support Regional Fulfillment Center operations. You will move pallets, load/unload trailers, and assist in various warehouse areas using the WMS system.

The role requires 1+ year forklift experience and certification, basic math, and the ability to work safely with stand-up reach forklifts. This is a full-time, on-site position with a 3:00pm–11:30pm Sunday to Thursday shift.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a forklift operator.
• Forklift or heavy machinery certification.
• Physically able to safely operate stand up reach forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
• Ability to write legibly.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of inventory control and general warehouse procedures.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions, to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Sort and place material or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming stock and materials, pick and fill orders from stock, pack and ship orders, or manage stock in the warehouse as directed by the WMS.
• Operate and maintain distribution center vehicles and equipment. Ensure machinery is serviced and maintained regularly.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; sweep, dust, and mop as required.
• Report any discrepancies.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Organize Distribution Center and work area for orderliness.
• Wear the proper safety equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Perform any other duties as requested by supervisor/manager.
