Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a forklift operator to load/unload shipments, move merchandise to storage, and prepare products for dispatch in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will perform quality checks, operate powered industrial trucks, follow safety guidelines, read production sheets, and communicate clearly with team members. Evening/night shifts and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience and ability to pass background tests.
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork.
• Ability to read production sheets and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound shipments.
• Move merchandise to storage locations.
• Build, pick, and pack pallets.
• Perform quality checks on inbound goods.
• Carry out basic forklift maintenance like charging the battery.
• Identify and report faults to supervisors or technicians.
• Pack and move items as instructed by supervisors.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.
