Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking a forklift operator to move pallets and products within the facility, maintain inventory location records, and perform light forklift maintenance. You will follow GMPs, safety rules, and quality procedures to prevent damage and ensure efficient production.

The role requires HS diploma or GED, forklift certification, and the ability to work overtime in a 24/7 environment. Experience with barcode systems is preferred, and a Lift Truck Operator License must be

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience driving and operating a forklift.
• Pass substance abuse screening per policy.
• Attention and control to prevent damage to materials and equipment.
• Preferred: experience in packaging, plastics, paper, converting, warehouse or manufacturing industries.

Responsibilities

• Move various sized units to the next staging area.
• Maintain accurate records of unit locations for inventory accuracy.
• Perform basic forklift equipment maintenance.
• Adhere to production schedule.
• Work overtime as necessary; 24x7 operations and occasional holidays.
• Housekeeping and cleaning of work areas to prevent hazards.
