Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Driver to operate a forklift, move product to staging areas, and maintain precise inventory records in a fast-paced plant environment. You will follow GMP-like safety procedures, participate in safety initiatives, and support multiple areas as needed to meet production schedules.

Candidates should be Pratt forklift certified, with prior forklift experience and familiarity with scanner-based inventory systems.

Qualifications

• Must be Pratt forklift certified.
• Previous Pratt and/or two years forklift operation preferred.
• Experience with scanner or barcode warehouse management inventory systems preferred.
• Ability to read and understand a tape measure; strong math and measurement skills.
• Pass substance abuse screening according to company policy.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and follow Pratt Industries safety rules and procedures.
• Move units to the next staging area and maintain inventory location records.
• Perform housekeeping and keep work areas clean and safe.
• Adhere to production schedule and work overtime as needed.
• Support multiple plant areas and varied projects as required.
