Job summary

Staffmark Group in Calhoun, GA is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move materials, stage inventory, and support warehouse operations. This full-time role offers morning and afternoon shifts, hands-on equipment work, and growth through equipment training.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years forklift experience, and certification or eligibility for company-sponsored certification. You will work with WMS, RF scanners, and adhere to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years forklift operator experience in warehouse or distribution
• Experience operating sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts
• Familiarity with WMS, RF scanners, inventory tracking, and label printing
• Forklift certification required or able to obtain company sponsorship
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts to move, stage, transport, and store products throughout the warehouse
• Load and unload trailers using forklifts, slip sheets, and attachments while ensuring product integrity
• Transport materials to designated storage locations, including high-density racking areas
• Utilize RF scanners and WMS to track inventory, verify product movements, and print labels
• Follow FIFO inventory practices and support SQFI, FDA, and company quality standards
• Complete daily forklift inspections, perform basic equipment checks, and report safety concerns promptly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment per OSHA guidelines
