Job summary

Performance Food Group, a leading distributor, seeks a warehouse associate in Richmond, VA. You will move products from trailers using a forklift or pallet jack, ensuring safety and quality as operations flow through receiving and staging.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 100 lbs, and ability to work multi-temperature environments, with overtime as needed. Benefits start Day 1 and include strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 6 months to 1 year warehouse/production experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly during shift.
• Able to lift 10–35 lbs and up to 60–100 lbs depending on location.
• Able to work in cooler, freezer and dry environments.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Move product from trailer to dock staging area safely and efficiently.
• Sort and segregate pallets and products as needed.
• Check products for damage and alert receivers when necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and comply with policies.
