Job summary

Vintners Logistics LLC in Kennewick, Washington is seeking a motivated Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our busy team. You will load, unload, and hand pick pallets of wine, food, and packaging materials, and ensure accurate inventory flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator certification/license.
• Proven forklift operating experience in a warehouse.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety and always following proper procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to transport materials within the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
• Move pallets to designated storage locations using the forklift.
• Build customer orders / pallets from customer created pick tickets.
• Inspect forklift and report maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
• Sanitize incoming trailers during harvest.
• Bin washing.
• Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely fulfillment of orders.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
