Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator certification/license.
• Proven forklift operating experience in a warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to transport materials within the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
• Move pallets to designated storage locations using the forklift.
• Build customer orders / pallets from customer created pick tickets.
• Inspect forklift and report maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
• Sanitize incoming trailers during harvest.
• Bin washing.
• Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely fulfillment of orders.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our team and contribute to our success.

Position Overview:

We are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to load, unload, and hand pick building pallets of wine, food, and packaging within our warehouse efficiently and safely. The Warehouse Forklift Operator will play a critical role in maintaining the flow of products through the warehouse, ensuring accuracy in inventory management, and supporting overall warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to transport materials and products within the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas, following proper handling procedures.
• Move pallets and other materials to designated storage locations using the forklift.
• Build customer orders / pallets from customer created pick tickets.
• Perform regular inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
