Job summary

XPO Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator to efficiently sort, load, and unload freight on a busy dock in Henderson, CO. You'll operate forklift and pallet jack, scan shipments on handheld devices, and ensure safe handling of cargo.

The role offers full health insurance from day one, 401(k) with company match, PTO, holidays, and education assistance. Candidates must be 18+, be able to do basic math, and work varying shifts. This is a Motor Carrier Act Exempt position.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts due to varying freight volumes, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods.
