Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dock team. You will efficiently sort, load, and unload freight using forklift and pallet jack, while maintaining safety standards and accurate shipment tracking.

Ideal candidates have forklift experience and can work alternative shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends. This role offers comprehensive health, life and disability coverage, PTO, holidays, a 401(k) with company match, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts: days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Forklift experience in freight/LTL is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight efficiently.
• Operate motorized and manual equipment including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools.
• Follow safety policies to work safely and efficiently.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods.
