Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Chapel Hill, NC is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator to join a fast-paced warehouse team. The role includes loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and operating forklifts on first shift with a Monday–Friday schedule.

You will work in a clean, safety-focused facility, receive paid training and benefits from day one, and participate in a company-wide program that supports growth and team success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Maintain accuracy with picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
• Work in a safe, clean, organized facility; follow safety guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
