Ryder System, Inc. is hiring for a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Raleigh, NC. The role includes forklift operation, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits accompany the position.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift license, and strong communication skills. Training is provided and safety is prioritized across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong technical aptitude including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, scanners and entering orders into a WMS System
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Must be able to work both indoors and outside
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Ability to work in a diverse environment
• Must be punctual with good attendance
• Detail oriented with initiative
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand long periods
• Flexible schedule on various shifts

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Work within contract performance measurement guidelines
• Accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading trucks
• Handle day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hours
• Performs other duties as assigned
