Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Cottonwood, AL seeks a Forklift Operator to move materials with standup forklifts, operate at heights up to 20 feet, and place products in designated areas within the distribution center.

You will start shift at 9 AM and enjoy comprehensive benefits starting on day 60, including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life insurance, vacation, sick leave from day one, and holidays after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior forklift experience and RF scanner familiarity are a plus.
• Must read, write and understand English well enough to perform tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and transport product to assigned slots.
• Identify product to be selected, sorted, and placed.
• Follow aisle specifications for product sorting and placement.
• Enter assigned product for each shift into the system.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.
