McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Forklift Operator for our Athens, GA distribution center.

You will operate stand-up forklifts to move product to designated areas, loading and organizing inventory while staying aware of safety procedures and height requirements up to 20 feet. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift experience and RF scanner experience preferred; English reading/writing proficiency required to perform tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and transport product to assigned slots.
• Identify product to be selected, sorted, and placed.
• Follow aisle specifications for product sorting and placement.
• Enter assigned product for each shift into the system.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.
