McLane Company, Inc. in Danville, IL is seeking a Forklift Operator to move materials within the distribution center using standup forklifts up to 20 feet high. It requires an early shift starting at 3:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with comprehensive benefits beginning on day 60.

You will be part of a safety-focused team committed to efficiency and accuracy. Ideal candidates have forklift experience and basic English literacy; HS diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift experience or RF scanner familiarity.
• Good reading and writing skills in English required to perform tasks safely.
• Basic English literacy to understand work instructions and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and transport product to assigned slots.
• Identify product to be selected, sorted, and placed.
• Follow aisle specifications for product sorting and placement.
• Enter assigned product for each shift into the system.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.
