Job summary

Southshore is a third-party logistics provider. The forklift operator role supports safe, efficient movement of goods in the regional distribution center in Nebraska, adhering to SOPs and contributing to operational excellence.

The position requires 1+ year forklift experience, a license (training provided), SAP scanning familiarity, and strong attention to detail. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required to meet peak season demands.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year experience as forklift operator in distribution/warehouse.
• Powered Industrial Forklift License; training provided.
• Prior SAP scanning experience is a plus.
• Inventory control experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a power industrial forklift safely and accurately.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and follow guidelines.
• Transport, stack, and organize products within the RDC.
• Load/unload trucks and manage put-away and picking.
• Use scanning equipment to ensure accurate movement of product.
• Assist inventory management per company policy.
• Report damaged inventory and shortages.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
