Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Gainesville, FL. This position offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a chance to grow within a safety‑mocused distribution environment.

Typical duties include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and operating stand-up or sit-down forklifts. You will use a WMS, and training is provided to support career advancement within Ryder’s logistics network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift Operator's License or certification preferred.
• Experience with warehouse and/or powered industrial trucks beneficial.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation and cycle counting.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing and auditing of products within contract guidelines.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
