Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Alpharetta, GA. The role involves operating sit-down forklifts, managing inbound items, and supporting a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include order picking and packing, cycle counting, and basic paperwork. Training is provided, with standard benefits and a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• 1 year of experience operating sit-down forklifts.
• Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Follow performance guidelines of the contract and ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, and loading/unloading.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
