Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Augusta, GA to support distribution operations. You will operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, assist with receiving and shipping, and ensure accurate picking and packing across warehouse workflows.

The role requires a high school diploma, valid forklift license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Training is provided and benefits are offered from day one in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid forklift operator license certification.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Experience with warehouse or powered industrial trucks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving and forklift operation.
• Maintain accuracy in picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging and loading/unloading.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, bills of lading, returns).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hours.
• Adhere to performance guidelines and perform other duties as assigned.
