Job summary

Novolex is hiring a Forklift Driver for the Salisbury, NC area. This role starts immediately on a day shift, with a 12-hour schedule and a base pay of $18.13 per hour, plus a skill-based raise after three months.

The position requires operating forklift-related equipment, supporting warehouse operations, and adhering to safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Prior RF scanner and VMU experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year recent forklift experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year sit-down experience required.
• Must be able to work 12 hour shift.
• Must obtain and maintain valid forklift certifications during employment.
• Proven experience in fast-paced Warehouse/Logistics environment.
• Experience with RF barcode readers and VMU systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and clamp truck to transfer finished goods and products to designated areas.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently following department standards.
• Move and transfer materials in a high-volume production environment.
• Support WMS functions related to inventory and load management (e.g., pick lists, PGI).
• Verify finished product counts, IDs, destinations, and carrier IDs before loading.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness; follow SWIS and company policies.
