Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator in Phoenix. The role loads and unloads shipments, receives raw materials, and maintains accurate inventory using DC-link and JDE. You will support production and QA while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifed candidates have a GED or high school diploma, 3 years’ related experience, and a Berry Plastics forklift certificate. You will operate sit-down forklifts, use an RF scanner, and participate in cycle counts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
• Forklift Operator Certificate (Berry Plastics internal training) required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Mathematical ability: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts to load and unload shipments and receive incoming materials.
• Complete paperwork for shipping/receiving.
• Maintain inventory records via physical inventories using DC-link and JDE system.
• Support production, printing and QA departments with stock, color, cardboard, bins, and audits.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed at all times.
• Use RF Scanner proficiently.
• Participate in inventory cycle counting as needed.
• Calculate parts requirements.
• Manage multiple tasks with strong organization.
• Sit/stand/walk for 12 hours; handle boxes and products; work around heavy machinery.
