Job summary

Sun Orchard is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely operate equipment, manage inventory, and support production processes on 1st shift in Tempe, AZ. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, FIFO material handling, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and forklift experience; safety, GMPs, and quality standards are emphasized. Excellent teamwork and adaptability are valued in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or forklift operations preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret basic instructional details.
• Commitment to safety, GMPs, and SOPs.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory.
• Ability to adapt to schedule and production hours.
• Reasoning: define problems, collect data, draw conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load, unload and move materials safely.
• Maintain accurate inventory movement and control in WMS.
• Keep shipping and staging areas clean and organized; report unsafe conditions.
• Pull and prepare product using FIFO when needed.
• Record product movements and interplant transfers; acknowledge receipts/shipments.
• Stack finished products onto pallets when required.
• Perform preventive maintenance on forklifts and follow SOPs.
• Support other plant operations as needed.
• Follow GMPs, SOPs and quality standards.
