Job summary

Amcor in Phoenix seeks an experienced Forklift Operator to load and unload shipments, manage inventory and support production teams. You will operate sit-down forklifts, record movements in JDE and DC-link, and ensure safety, accuracy and on-time deliveries.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and at least three years in a shipping/receiving environment. 12-hour day shifts run 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with a $21 base hourly rate plus $2 shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant training preferred.
• Forklift Operator Certificate required (Berry Plastics internal training).
• Minimum 3 years related experience and/or training in shipping/receiving.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts to load/unload shipments and receive raw materials.
• Complete shipping/receiving paperwork accurately.
• Maintain inventory records using DC-link and JDE system; assist QA, production, and printing as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines and use RF scanner for inventory and audits.
• Support cycle counting and calculate parts requirements.
• Able to sit/stand/walk for 12 hours and handle boxes and products.
