XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator to efficiently sort, load, and unload freight on a busy Indianapolis dock. You’ll operate pallet jacks and forklifts, secure loads inside trailers, and follow safety policies while using mobile devices to track shipments.

The role requires flexibility for days, evenings, nights, and weekends on non-climate-controlled docks. Starting pay is $28.10 per hour with a $1.80 night premium; full health benefits begin on day one, plus life and disability insurance, PTO,

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts due to varying freight volumes, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods.
