Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Forklift Operator in Illinois. The role involves efficiently sorting, loading, and unloading freight on a dock, using pallet jacks and forklifts, and scanning shipments with handheld devices.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Available to work days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Experience in dock/warehouse or forklift operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Operate pallet jack and forklift and other equipment as required.
• Secure freight inside trailers using proper tools.
• Work safely and adhere to company policies.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods.
