Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator in Phoenix, AZ to efficiently sort, load and unload freight on a dock environment. The role requires basic math, 18+ and the ability to work varied shifts. Training is available and benefits begin on day one.

Experienced forklift operators can start at $28.10/hour, with health, life and disability insurance, PTO, holidays, 401(k) match and education assistance. This is a Motor Carrier Act Exempt position.

Qualifications

• Dock or warehouse experience in transportation industry.
• Forklift experience in freight or LTL environment.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers.
• Strong attention to detail and desire to succeed.
• Must be able to perform basic math with or without calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sort, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Operate pallet jack and forklift and other equipment as needed.
• Secure freight inside trailers using proper tools and supplies.
• Work safely and in accordance with company policies.
• Use mobile devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods.
