Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dock team. You will efficiently load and unload freight, maneuver pallets with forklifts and pallet jacks, and secure goods inside trailers while following safety policies.

The role offers an afternoon shift with full health, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) with company match. Training and tools are provided for day-one readiness.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
• Dock/warehouse experience in transportation improves efficiency.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely and adhere to company safety policies.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods.
