Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our Savannah dock, handling palletized and non-palletized freight. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, load and unload trailers, and follow safety policies while using mobile devices to track shipments.

The role requires 18+ years of age, basic math skills, and the ability to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends. Active health and disability coverage and PTO are available from day one.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math calculations with or without a calculator.
• Available for varying shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload freight.
• Use motorized and manual equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely adhering to company policies.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a non-climate-controlled dock for extended periods.
