Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator in South Carolina to efficiently handle freight on a dock. The role requires operating forklift and pallet jack, loading/unloading trailers, and following safety policies on a non-climate controlled dock.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Able to perform basic math, with or without calculator.
• Availability to work various shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends).

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use motorized and manual equipment including forklift and pallet jack.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely following company policies.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods.
