Job summary

Lineage Logistics Holdings, LLC is seeking an experienced forklift operator for our Sioux Falls, SD site. The role involves operating a stand-up reach forklift to move products, load and unload materials, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

The position requires basic math, the ability to understand instructions, and the physical capacity to lift at least 40 lbs. A flexible schedule, including weekends, is often required in cold and dry storage environments.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs; weight may be more depending on facility.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels; sometimes loud environments.

Responsibilities

• Move products, equipment, and materials using a stand-up reach forklift.
• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height.
• Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipment.
• Record materials’ weight, counts, and condition via RF system.
• Load and unload materials on/off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Monitor battery charge and maintain batteries; leave equipment at the charging station.
• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.
