Operators will complete various jobs including staging materials, layout, and clean up. Operation of forklifts to assist in minimizing material handling and staging by use of physical exertion.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bending sitting, standing, walking.
- Work in a safety sensitive position.
- Requires working with heavy equipment around personnel and equipment.
- Must be alert to surroundings; position requires a high degree of situational awareness.
- Physical exertion required in performance of job/duty assignment.
- Clean work areas, machines, or equipment, to maintain a clean and safe job site.
- Load wall panels or trusses and components onto trailers with forklift.
- Read and interpret work orders, accurately select lumber, and stage all components.
- Stack and label all cut materials and band bundles of materials to specifications.
- Other tasks as necessary.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Working in a team environment and a positive attitude is imperative.
- Experience in framing equipment a plus. Example: power tools and hand tools.
- Basic math and measuring skills.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Great Aptitude in following instructions.
- Ability to read layouts and coordinate daily site activities.
- Prep, build, erect wood construction, frame, installation per plans and instructions given.
- Ability to add and subtract in all units of standard US measures, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Situational Awareness.

Starting at $19/hr depending on experience
