Job summary

Paylocity in Garland, TX is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move packages and materials within our facilities. You will unload inbound trailers, load outbound trailers, and maintain accurate counts while following safety guidelines.

Requirements include 1–2 years of warehouse experience, familiarity with shipping practices, and English proficiency. Forklift experience is a plus; candidates must be able to work Sunday–Thursday, 7am–4pm, and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload materials and merchandise from inbound trailers and load them to outbound trailers.
• Performs required administrative tasks for inbound unloading and outbound loading.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Inspect forklift to determine the need for repairs and note defects on pre-shift forms.
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly facility environment.
• Secure freight for transit.
• Operate air compressor for airbags.
• Ensure freight is counted and loaded in the correct DC trailer.
• Perform tasks such as working floor freight and mixed freight with accurate counts.
