Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring for a Checker Operator on B shift (Monday night–Thursday night) and D shift (Friday night–Sunday night) in Russellville, AR. The role requires operating a motor-powered forklift to load, unload, and process products in a fast-paced warehouse, with a night shift premium.

Night and day shifts are available and safety is emphasized throughout. Applicants must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds; cross-training and certification on forklift will occur

Qualifications

• Requires entry level forklift operator ability.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load, unload and move products in warehouse.
• Move quickly around work area and perform tasks with safety in mind.
• Be willing to work overtime and weekends to meet production deadlines.
• Cross-train and be moved to other areas as needed; work in cold storage environments.
