Job summary

Tyson Foods in Edwardsville is seeking a Job Description Checker Opr B-shift for overnights. You will operate a forklift to unload trailers, break down and stack cases, and verify product, date, and quantity.

The role requires frequent lifting—up to 90 lbs regularly and up to 110 lbs occasionally—and long 12-hour shifts in a cold environment (-10° to 30°F). Shifts are 12 hours, 3.5 days per week, with attendance incentives and shift premium.

Qualifications

• 1 year of forklift and warehouse experience with a single employer in the last 5 years.
• Cold storage experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs regularly and up to 110 lbs occasionally.
• Able to stand/walk/bend/stretch for 12-hour shifts in cold environments (-10° to 30°F).
• Willing to cross-train and move to other areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Remove pallets from trailers using a forklift.
• Break down and stack cases during receiving.
• Verify product, date, and quantity for accuracy.
• Work 12-hour shifts in a cold cooler/freezer environment.
